I have had "The Story Of Fall" patterned paper pad for at least 4 or 5 years. (It's copyrighted 2015!) I had only a relatively few sheets left, so I decided this year I would finally use it up! After all, I need room for more patterned paper pads, right? ;)
I used a pattern from that pad for my background, & just cut it to A2 size and adhered it to my white card base. I also die cut 2 circles from another scrap from that pad.
I stamped the bear with Rich Cocoa & the bunny with London Fog onto vellum bristol paper scraps. I colored them with my colored pencils, & die cut them. I die cut 2 grass layers from a patterned paper scrap, and adhered one along the bottom of a scrap of Icy Mint cardstock.
I did a bit of "surgery" on the bear & bunny. I wanted it to look like they were hugging, so I cut slits along the top of the bear's left leg & between the bunny's arms. I slid them together, then glued them onto my blue piece, over the grass layer. I glued a second, shorter grass layer over the bottoms of my critters. Finally I die cut that with a 3" circle die.
The greeting I used was a free stamp with an order I received from Lawn Fawn. I curved it on my MISTI to match the curve of the circle, & stamped it with Forget-Me-Not ink.
I adhered my 2 patterned paper circles to the background, cut off the overhanging bits, & adhered my focal circle in the middle to finish this card.
